If you are not so good at baking then we need to have a chat about the amazing @thebottledbakingco
We started buying in from Greg after we met a few @topdrawerlondon shows ago and taste tested some of the, ‘Fabulous Unicorn Cake’, at the stand (one of the ongoing hardships you have to ‘endure’ 😆) and the rest is history, we have been buying in from them ever since and they make such great gifts! They are today’s #meetthemaker, are featured on our blog and Greg will tell us a little bit more about his amazing business!

We are a little bit behind with our #meetthemaker but are definitely going to catch up this week and are going to kick off with the rather fabulous @nicolarowlands who designed and made this card! We are huge fans of Nicola and her quirky and positive life affirming designs and have bought in from her pretty much since the beginning of @happydashery. She has the perfect range of designs for when you want to send a card version of a hug and we are really looking forward to hearing more about her inspiration for all of her unique designs and how she always gets it right for those cards that are jut perfect for a crappy situation! 

We are absolutely thrilled to be able to introduce you to one of our newest suppliers for this #meetthemaker! She is @lovekikidesigns and she makes these stunning earrings and hair slides! We’re a little bit (read a lot) smitten with them all and think she has totally nailed her inspiration for her makes bringing, ‘joy to those who wear them’. 

We absolutely fell in love with Sakina’s work when we saw it and love just how positive and strong all of her messages are, whether on her cards or her prints. In Sakina’s own words, she believes in, ‘bringing people together through shared human values’, and her work is a true reflection of this motivation. After a day of Sunday relaxing and recuperating after a very hectic week, it is only right that we focus our late Day 5 of #marchmeetthemaker on the fab @sophiehome_london
Sophie designs beautiful and colourful cotton knit accessories for your home, as well as gorgeous nursery toys for children.  Sophie and Jess are a dream to work with and the quality of the throws and children’s toys are second to none… not only that but 5% of the profits go to @chooselove and the products are all ethically made!  What is not to love!? So a little bit late to the party for Day 4 of #marchmeetthemaker but today we are turning our attention to the lovely @madebyshannon She makes the most beautiful, delicate, and sometimes naughty, environmentally friendly cards… we are talking seeded cards, cards made from algae from the Venice lagoons and even cards made from reindeer poo, she is always looking at innovative ways in which her card business can limit the impact on the environment!

Seeing as it is #marchmeetthemaker, we thought we would showcase one of our fabulous makers and suppliers every day for the whole month and would feature them on our Instagram and on our, long neglected, blog here on our website.  Seeing as these fabulous human beings use the back of our shop as Buddy HQ, we thought we would start off with the lovely Lee and Wes from Buddy Fernandez Cards.
